LANDLORD AND TENANT, § 295tenant injured by falling plaster, sufficiency of evidence. Judgment was properly entered for plaintiff in action for personal injuries sustained when plaster fell from ceiling and struck her on the head, there being evidence that agent of landlord promised to have ceiling repaired when he induced plaintiff to rent the apartment, and he had timely notice of its defective and rotten condition.

Appeal from Superior Court of Cook county; Hon. JOSEPH SABATH, presiding.

Affirmed. Heard in third division, first district, this court at October term, 1939.
