Angelica Maria Garza v. Emanuel Diaz Vazquez

County Civil Court at Law No. 2 of Harris County No. 1181106

ORDER

PETER KELLY, JUDGE

Appellee, Emanuel Diaz Vazquez, advised the Court that mediation did not result in settlement. On February 13, 2024, the mediator advised the Court that mediation was not successful.

Accordingly, the abatement is lifted and the appeal is reinstated on the active docket.

The record was originally due to be filed on May 22, 2023. On May 25, 2023, the trial court clerk advised this Court that appellant had not made financial arrangements for the filing of the clerk's record. Our notice to appellant stated that the appeal might be dismissed unless appellant paid the fee for the clerk's record by June 26, 2023. Appellant also stated in her docketing statement that she had not requested the reporter's record.

Because the appeal has now been reinstated on the active docket, the clerk's record and reporter's record shall be due within 30 days of the date of this order.

It is so ORDERED.
