ANNE K. GARVIN, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge.

On August 4, 2023, respondent electronically filed a document in the above-docketed case, designating the filing as an "Answer." However, review of that filing shows that the document in question appears to be an internal memorandum by the Internal Revenue Service and, moreover, to concern a taxpayer who is not a party to this proceeding. That being so, it is

ORDERED that the respondent's "Answer," filed August 4, 2023, at Docket Index No. 11, is stricken from the Court's record and shall not be viewable by the public or the parties in this case. It is further

ORDERED that the just-referenced "Answer" shall be sealed and retained by the Court in a sealed file which shall not be inspected by any person or entity except by an Order of the Court.
