Sylvia GARDNER, Appellants v. Eric GARDNER, Appellees

From the 224th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2013-CI-00678
Honorable David A. Canales, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Appellant Sylvia Gardner, representing herself on appeal, filed her brief on December 15, 2017. The brief did not comply with Rule 38.1 of the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure; for example, it did not present any legal arguments or authorities. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.1. We struck Appellant's brief and ordered her to file an amended brief that complied with the Rules.

On January 4, 2018, Appellant filed an amended brief, but it also failed to comply with the Rules. Appellant's amended brief did not list a single statute, rule, or case; it did not contain a single citation to the appellate record; and it did not present any legal issue supported by argument for this court to review.

On January 24, 2018, this court dismissed the appeal for want of prosecution. On February 8, 2018, Appellant filed a motion for rehearing.

The panel has considered Appellant's motion for rehearing; the motion is DENIED. See TEX. R. APP. P. 49.3. It is so ORDERED on this 22nd day of February, 2018.

PER CURIAM ATTESTED TO: /s/_________
