Daniel GARCIA, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 226th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2023CR6452 Honorable Velia J. Meza, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Rebeca C. Martinez, Chief Justice

The reporter's record was originally due to be filed on October 14, 2024.

Our records indicate that there are four court reporters responsible for preparation of various portions of the reporter's record: (1) David Zarate; (2) Stephanie Barajas; (3) Roxanne Pena; and (4) Geneva Garcia. Mr. Zarate has filed a notification of late record that states "I was not the reporter on the trial. I have not been notified by the attorney to prepare any hearings . . . ." Ms. Barajas has filed a notification of late record requesting an extension until November 18, 2024. To date, neither Ms. Garcia nor Mr. Pena have filed a notification of late record or those portions of the reporter's record that they are responsible for preparing.

The court GRANTS IN PART the extension requested by Ms. Barajas and ORDERS that all portions of the reporter's record due from Ms. Barajas, Mr. Zarate, Ms. Pena, and Ms. Garcia be filed by November 13, 2024. The clerk of this court is directed to forward a copy of this order to all the court reporters and to the trial court.
