On April 11, 2022, petitioner filed the petition to commence this case, seeking review of a joint notice of deficiency issued to petitioner and his spouse, Karen Gonzalez, for their 2019 tax year. On July 6, 2022, Karen Gonzalez lodged a ratification of petition, indicating therein that she wishes to be added as a petitioner in this case.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that the ratification of petition, lodged by Karen Gonzalez on July 6, 2022, shall be filed as of the date of service of this Order. It is further

ORDERED that Karen Gonzalez is added as a petitioner in this case. It is further

ORDERED that the caption of this case is amended to read: "Richard Furay and Karen Gonzalez, Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue, Respondent".
