Per Curiam.
The petition alleging ineffective assistance of appellate counsel is denied on the merits. See Blanco v. Wainwright , 507 So. 2d 1377, 1384 (Fla. 1987) (holding that appellate counsel may not be deemed ineffective for failing to raise issue of ineffectiveness of trial counsel on direct appeal); see also Steiger v. State , 328 So. 3d 926 (Fla. 2021) (holding that an unpreserved claim of ineffective assistance of trial counsel may not be raised or result in reversal on direct appeal).
Roberts, Winokur, and M.K. Thomas, JJ., concur.
