Appeal by plaintiff from a small claims judgment of the City Court, City of Newburgh, Orange County (J. Pastsalos, J.), entered January 8, 2003, dismissing his claim.

Judgment unanimously affirmed without costs.

PRESENT: McCABE, P.J., RUDOLPH and ANGIOLILLO, JJ.


A review of the record on appeal in this small claims action seeking to recover for water damages establishes that substantial justice has been done between the parties according to the rules and principles of substantive law ( see UCCA 1807; Northern Westchester Professional Park Assoc. v. Town of Bedford, 60 NY2d 492, 499; Perez v. Garcia, 304 AD2d 544).
