MEMORANDUM OPINION

PER CURIAM

Relator Joe Frederick has filed a motion to withdraw the petition for writ of mandamus that he filed in this court on February 24, 2012. Without passing on the merits of the case, Frederick's "Motion to Withdraw Petition for Writ of Mandamus" is granted, and the petition is dismissed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.1(a)(1).
