CHASITY FORTHMAN, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge

On August 21, 2024, the Court entered an Order of Dismissal for Lack of Jurisdiction in this case on the ground that petitioner had failed to file a proper amended petition and pay the Court's filing fee. On September 4, 2024, petitioner paid the filing fee. However, to date, petitioner has not filed a proper amended petition.

Upon due consideration and for cause, it is

ORDERED that the Court's Order of Dismissal for Lack of Jurisdiction entered in this case is hereby vacated and set aside. It is further

ORDERED that the time within which petitioner shall file an amended petition is extended to September 25, 2024. If the amended petition is not received by that date, the Court may again dismiss this case for lack of jurisdiction.
