QUADRIEL FOREST, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 219th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 219-85014-2023

ORDER

BONNIE LEE GOLDSTEIN JUSTICE

Before the Court is attorney Claire Miranda Petty's November 12, 2024 motion to substitute counsel. The motion does not indicate that Ms. Petty complied with the requirement of Rule of Appellate Procedure 6.5(b) that the motion be "delivered to the party in person or mailed-both by certified and by first-class mail-to the party at the party's last known address." See Tex. R. App. P. 6.5(b), (d). Accordingly, the motion to substitute counsel is DENIED without prejudice to the filing of a motion to substitute counsel that shows compliance with Rule 6.5(b).
