Opinion

No. 2D98-1012

Opinion filed June 30, 2000.

Appeal from the Circuit Court for Hillsborough County; Bob Anderson Mitcham, Judge.

James Marion Moorman, Public Defender, and Richard J. Sanders, Assistant Public Defender, Bartow, for Appellant.

Robert A. Butterworth, Attorney General, Tallahassee, and Dale E. Tarpley, Assistant Attorney General, Tampa, for Appellee.

Dwayne Floyd appeals the revocation of his probation and sentence imposed for an offense occurring on September 3, 1996. We affirm the revocation without further discussion. We remand this case to the trial court, however, to reconsider the sentence. See Smith v. State, 25 Fla. L. Weekly D1273, D1274 (Fla. 2d DCA May 24, 2000).

Revocation of probation affirmed; remanded to reconsider sentence.
