Opinion
Case No. SC01-251
September 12, 2002
ORDER
Having considered the briefs filed by the parties and having heard oral argument, this Court has determined that the report of the referee should be approved in full. Accordingly, Respondent Leonard Mark Dachs is hereby disbarred from the practice of law in the State of Florida. In light of this Court's suspension order in Florida Bar v. Dachs, No. SC00-1661 (Fla. Aug. 22, 2000) (unpublished order), the disbarment will be effective immediately. Dachs shall accept no new business until he is readmitted to the practice of law in Florida. Judgment is entered for The Florida Bar, 650 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida 32399, for recovery of costs from Leonard Mark Dachs in the amount of $2,610.76, for which sum let execution issue.
This order is not final until the time expires to file a motion for rehearing, and if filed, determined. However, the filing of a motion for rehearing shall not alter the effective date of the disbarment. It is so ordered.
