Reynaldo FLORES, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 290th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas

Trial Court No. 2012CR1969

Honorable Melisa Skinner, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Sitting: Sandee Bryan Marion, Justice

Marialyn Barnard, Justice

Rebeca C. Martinez, Justice

On May 16, 2013, the trial court allowed appellant's counsel to withdraw and appellant was allowed to represent himself on appeal pro se. On August 15, 2013, appellant filed his pro se brief. The State's brief, originally due on September 16, 2013, is due December 6, 2013. On December 12, 2013, appellant filed a pro se "Motion for Enter [sic] Judgment" asking this court to reverse the trial court's judgment and order his immediate release. Because this appeal is still pending before this court and the State has not yet filed its brief, we DENY appellant's motion.

Sandee Bryan Marion, Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 4th day of December, 2013.
