Oscar R. Flores Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

David Gustafson, Judge

This case was scheduled for trial at the Tax Court's session in Washington, D.C., beginning December 13, 2021; but the Commissioner has filed a motion (Doc. 13) for leave to file a motion for continuance (Doc. 14). The motions explain that documents recently received by the Commissioner "may satisfy petitioner's burden, but will require additional time to verify." The motion states that petitioner Oscar R. Flores does not object to a continuance. It is

ORDERED that the motion for leave (Doc. 13) is granted, and the motion for continuance (Doc. 14) is filed as of this date. It is further

ORDERED that the motion for a continuance (Doc. 14) is granted and that this case is continued generally. The case shall be stricken from the calendar of the trial session beginning December 13, 2021, and will not be called at that session. Unless the case is settled, it will be tried at a future session of the Tax Court. If Mr. Flores is uncertain about the effect of this order, he may call the Chambers Administrator of the undersigned judge at 202-521-0850.
