FLORIDA BOARD OF BAR EXAMINERS v. SCOTT PRESENT

The Petition filed in the above cause is hereby granted. We order the Florida Board of Bar Examiners ("Board") to provide applicants with documentation, such as an invoice or statement from the court reporting service, when directing applicants to pay for hearing transcripts pursuant to Rule 3-22.6 of the Rules of the Supreme Court Relating to Admissions to the Bar. In light of confidentiality issues, the Board should consider redacting confidential information from the invoices regarding other applicants or obtaining invoices for individual applicants from the court reporting service.

Further, material submitted by the parties demonstrates that the Board did not charge Applicant an amount in excess of the cost of the transcripts. Accordingly, Appplicant's request for reimbursement of funds is denied. POLSTON, C.J., and PARIENTE, LEWIS, QUINCE, CANADY, LABARGA, and PERRY, JJ., concur. A True Copy
