THE FLORIDA BAR Complainant(s) v. ROBERT V. PALMER Respondent(s)

Lower Tribunal No(s).: 2010-00,407(4A)OSC

On May 9, 2013, this Court issued an opinion holding Respondent Robert V. Palmer in contempt of court, and ordered him to serve sixty days in jail, to refund the remaining $275 owed to Gwendolyn Williams under the terms and conditions set forth in the report of referee, and to pay $3,096.04 in costs. See Fla. Bar v. Palmer, 38 Fla. L. Weekly S312 (Fla. May 9, 2013). Palmer filed a motion for rehearing. The Court referred the motion to a referee.

Upon consideration of the report of referee, filed with this Court on April 24, 2014, the referee's findings of fact and recommendations are approved. Palmer's motion for rehearing is hereby granted in part. The Court suspends the entire sixty-day jail sentence imposed in the May 9, 2013, opinion. All other provisions of the opinion shall remain in effect. LABARGA, C.J., and PARIENTE, LEWIS, QUINCE, CANADY, POLSTON, and PERRY, JJ., concur. A True Copy
