The FLORIDA BAR, Complainant(s) v. Jeffrey W. BLACHER, Respondent(s).
The uncontested report of the referee is approved and respondent is suspended from the practice of law for ninety days. Respondent agreed to cease the practice of law as of the date he executed the consent judgment; therefore this suspension is effective, nunc pro tunc, August 22, 2014. Respondent shall fully comply with Rule Regulating the Florida Bar 3–5.1(h).
Respondent shall pay restitution in the amounts of $1,500.00 to Robin Crippen, $1,800.00 to Donna Rubinski, and $4,000.00 to Griselda Villanueva under the terms and conditions set forth in the report and the consent judgment.
Respondent is further placed on probation for two years under the terms and conditions set forth in the report and consent judgment.
Judgment is entered for The Florida Bar, 651 East Jefferson Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399–2300, for recovery of costs from Jeffrey W. Blancher in the amount of $1,250.00, for which sum let execution issue.
Not final until time expires to file motion for rehearing, and if filed, determined. The filing of a motion for rehearing shall not alter the effective date of this suspension.
