First Overseas Inv. Corp. v. Dantas

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Third District
Jul 28, 1987
509 So. 2d 987 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1987)

Opinion

No. 87-1326.

July 14, 1987. Rehearing Denied July 28, 1987.

An Appeal from a non-final order of the Circuit Court for Dade County; Maria M. Korvick, Judge.

Cathy Jackson Lerman, Fort Lauderdale, for appellant.

Guillermo Sostchin and Gregg Pessin, Miami, for appellees.

Before SCHWARTZ, C.J., and BARKDULL and HENDRY, JJ.

The trial court struck the defendant's pleadings because of substantial violations of the discovery rules and a court order enforcing them. Our review of the record reveals no abuse of discretion. See McMillian v. State of Florida, Department of Corrections, 506 So.2d 1171 (Fla. 3d DCA 1987), and cases cited.

Affirmed.
