DAVID EUGENE FIELDS, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 265th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. F23-16843

ORDER

DENNISE GARCIA JUSTICE

The clerk's record filed January 31, 2024, is incomplete because it does not include the jury charge and verdict at the punishment hearing and the trial court's certification of defendant's right of appeal.

We ORDER the Honorable Jennifer Bennett, Presiding Judge, 265th Judicial District Court, to transmit to the district clerk within TEN DAYS of the date of this order a signed trial court's certification of defendant's right of appeal of the December 7, 2023 Judgment of Conviction by Jury that accurately reflects the trial court proceedings and the defendant's right of appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 25.2(a), (d).

We ORDER Felicia Pitre, Dallas County District Clerk, to file on or before MARCH 4, 2024, a supplemental clerk's record containing the trial court's certification of defendant's right of appeal and the jury charge and verdict from the punishment hearing.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Jennifer Bennett, Presiding Judge, 265th Judicial District Court; Felicia Pitre, Dallas County District Clerk; and counsel for all parties.
