The petition for review is granted. Further action in this matter is deferred pending consideration and disposition of a related issue in Long Beach Police Officers Association et al. v. City of Long Beach, et al., S200872 (see Cal. Rules of Court, rule 8.512(d)(2)), or pending further order of the court. Submission of additional briefing, pursuant to California Rules of Court, rule 8.520, is deferred pending further order of the court.
The request for an immediate stay is denied. The stay ordered by this court on September 21, 2012, of all proceedings in Alameda County Superior Court, case no. RG12–632350, entitled Los Angeles Times Communications, LLC, and the McClatchy Company dba The Sacramento Bee v. University of California, Board of Regents, et al. (including but not limited to the June 26, 2012, order directing the Regents to disclose the unredacted report, including the names of police officers identified in the report) remains in effect, pending further order of this court.
