JOSHUA JONTELLE FEAST, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 56th District Court Galveston County, Texas
Trial Court Case No. 17-CV-0184

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Appellant, Joshua Jontelle Feast, has failed to timely file his appellate brief. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(a)(1), (d), 38.8(a)(1). After the Clerk of this Court's December 13, 2017 notice warned appellant that this appeal was subject to dismissal for want of prosecution unless appellant filed an appellant's brief or an extension of time within ten days of that notice, appellant failed to timely file his brief or an extension. See id. 38.6(d), 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b), (c).

Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution for failure to timely file an appellant's brief. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b), (c).

PER CURIAM Panel consists of Chief Justice Radack and Justices Higley and Bland.
