Andrew Farkas Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Christian N. Weiler Judge

This case is calendared for trial on the Court's December 13, 2021, Jacksonville, Florida remote trial session. On November 12, 2021, the parties filed a joint motion for continuance and asks the Court to restore this case to the general docket. The motion states that this case is susceptible to settlement, however, the parties need additional time to reconcile a remaining issue concerning the proposed settlement's impact on petitioner's tax obligation for subsequent years. The parties also filed a second joint motion for continuance which appears to be a duplicate motion.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that the parties' joint motion for continuance of trial is granted and this case is stricken from the Court's December 13, 2021, Jacksonville, Florida remote trial session and is continued generally. It is further

ORDERED that the parties' joint motion for continuance at index #8, is hereby deemed stricken from the Court's record in this case.
