ORDER

Lewis R. Carluzzo Chief Special Trial Judge

This I.R.C. section 6330(d) case, presently set for trial during the Detroit, Michigan, trial session scheduled to begin in that city on September 23, 2024, is before the Court on respondent's Motion for Continuance, filed August 28, 2024.

Giving due regard to the representation contained in that motion, it is

ORDERED that respondent's motion is set for hearing at the time, date and place shown in the Notice Setting Case for Trial, served April 25, 2024. It is further

ORDERED that the parties need not comply with the obligations imposed upon them in the Standing Pretrial Order served April 25, 2024.

The Court is inclined to grant the motion. The hearing will focus on the future actions the parties intend to take to prepare the case for trial or to resolve it without the need for one.
