EX PARTE TIMOTHY LEE VIDAL
On Appeal from the 219th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 219-82152-2017 , 219-82153-2017
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Before Justices Lang-Miers, Fillmore, and Stoddart
Opinion by Justice Stoddart
Timothy Lee Vidal appeals the trial court's determination denying relief on his pretrial applications for writ of habeas corpus seeking a reduction in the amount of his pretrial bonds. After submission of the appeals, the State has filed a November 20, 2017 motion to dismiss the appeals as moot. The State reports the parties and the trial court have entered agreed orders reducing appellant's pretrial bonds, and appellant has now been released on bond. Supplemental clerk's records have been filed containing the agreed orders setting bond and showing appellant has posted bond in each case.
We conclude these appeals are now moot. See Ex parte Guerrero, 99 S.W.3d 852, 853 (Tex. App.—Houston [14th Dist.] 2003, no pet.) (per curiam) (appeal from denial of pretrial writ of habeas corpus seeking bond reduction rendered moot when trial court reduced bond and applicant posted reduced bond and was released).
We GRANT the State's motion to dismiss.
We dismiss the appeals as moot.
