ON APPLICATION FOR A WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS CAUSE NO. 2012-1969-C2A IN THE 54TH DISTRICT COURT FROM MCLENNAN COUNTY

ORDER

Per curiam.

Applicant pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was placed on deferred adjudication probation for four years. Applicant's guilt was subsequently adjudicated, and he was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. He did not appeal his conviction. Applicant filed this application for a writ of habeas corpus in the county of conviction, and the district clerk forwarded it to this Court. See Tex. Code Crim. Proc. art. 11.07.

On May 3, 2023, this Court dismissed application number WR-94,770-01. This Court now reconsiders on its own motion that dismissal and substitutes this written order.

After considering the trial court's findings of fact and conclusions of law, as well as conducting our own independent review of the record in this case, the Court believes that Applicant's claims are without merit. Therefore, after reconsideration on the Court's own motion, relief is denied in cause number WR-94,770-01.
