MEMORANDUM OPINION

PATRICIA O. ALVAREZ, JUSTICE

On March 24, 2021, we abated this appeal pending the Supreme Court of Texas's disposition of a factually similar case. On May 13, 2022, the court issued its opinion, Ex parte K.T., No. 20-0977, 2022 WL 1510329 (Tex. May 13, 2022). Subsequently, the Texas Department of Public Safety acknowledged that Appellee is entitled to the requested expunction, and it moved to dismiss this appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.1(a)(1).

We reinstate this appeal, grant the Department's motion, and dismiss the appeal.
