FROM THE COUNTY COURT AT LAW NO. 1 OF TOM GREEN COUNTY
NOS. 92001 & 92011, THE HONORABLE BEN NOLEN, JUDGE PRESIDINGORDER
PER CURIAM
In these two cases, appellant appeals the trial court's denial of his application for writ of habeas corpus. Appellant's brief is currently due May 15, 2017. Appellant has filed a Motion to Stay the Filing of Brief, claiming, in part, that he is attempting to gather additional records to assist in the preparation of his brief.
The appellate record in this habeas proceeding is complete. See In re Camp, No. 03-17-00028-CV, 2017 WL 1404749, at *1 (Tex. App.—Austin Apr. 14, 2017, orig. proceeding). Accordingly, appellant's motion is denied. On its own motion, the Court grants a 30-day extension of time for appellant to file his brief. If this Court does not receive appellant's brief on or before June 14, 2017, this cause will be submitted without briefs and considered on the record alone.
It is so ordered on this the 9th day of May, 2017. Before Justices Puryear, Pemberton, and Goodwin Do Not Publish
