ORDER
PER CURIAM
This appeal is at issue and ready to be submitted to the court. Appellant filed his brief on November 12, 2024. The State filed its brief on December 2, 2024. Appellant's reply brief, if any, is due on or before December 22, 2024. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6 (c). However, under the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure, an appeal may be considered and decided before a reply brief is filed. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6 (c) (authorizing an appellate court to consider and decide a case before a reply brief is filed). On December 12, 2024, Appellant filed a motion for an extension of time to file a reply brief.
We GRANT Appellant's motion for an extension of time to file a reply brief and ORDER his reply brief due on January 13, 2025. Further extensions of time to file a reply brief will be disfavored.
