ORDER
In this cause, Patrick Hawthorne appeals from the denial of an application for a pretrial writ of habeas corpus. Hawthorne was retried while this cause was pending. His retrial apparently resulted in a final judgment of conviction from which Hawthorne has appealed. That appeal is currently pending in this court in Cause No. 11-16-00359-CR, but the appellate record has not yet been filed. Because the issues in these appeals may be intertwined, we abate the appeal in the present cause until the appeal in Cause No. 11-16-00359-CR becomes at issue.
Accordingly, this appeal is abated. May 11, 2017
