On Appeal from the 380th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 380-05643-2022
ORDER
ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE
Appellant has filed a notice of appeal challenging the trial court's order on his pretrial application for writ of habeas corpus requiring him to wear an ankle monitor as a pretrial bond condition. This appeal is governed by Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 31.
The clerk's record has been filed, and the docketing statement indicates there is no reporter's record. There is no certification of the right to appeal in the clerk's record. We ORDER the trial court to prepare a certification of appellant's right to appeal and to file it within FOURTEEN DAYS of the date of this order. 1
We ORDER appellant to file his brief by December 30, 2022. We ORDER the State to file its brief by January 20, 2023. If appellant desires to file a reply brief, the reply brief is due within fifteen days of the date the State files its brief. After the briefs have been filed, the Court will notify the parties of the submission date and panel.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Benjamin N. Smith, Presiding Judge, 380th Judicial District Court; and counsel for all parties. 2
