Original Proceeding. Petition dismissed.

James Earl Crayton, Gatesville, TX, pro se. Steve A. Keathley, Navarro County District Attorney, Corsicana, TX, for appellee/respondent.

Before Chief Justice GRAY, Justice VANCE, and Justice REYNA.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

James Earl Crayton has filed a "Writ of Habeas Corpus" by which he seeks to challenge Respondent's denial of his postconviction request for a free copy of the record of a 1997 revocation hearing. However, this Court does not have original habeas jurisdiction in criminal law matters. Ex parte Bone, 25 S.W.3d 728, 730 (Tex. App.-Waco 2000, no pet.). Accordingly, we dismiss Crayton's habeas petition for want of jurisdiction.
