On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 2, Grayson County, Texas, Trial Court Cause No. 2004-2-1026. Dismiss.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Jesus Ramon Castillo filed a pretrial application for writ of habeas corpus seeking release under article 17.151 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure because of delay. Following a hearing, the trial court denied relief, and appellant appealed. We have received appellant's motion to dismiss, which we will treat as appellant's brief, stating that on September 6, 2004, appellant pleaded guilty and was released for time served, making the appeal moot. An appeal regarding pretrial bond becomes moot when the defendant is afforded a trial. See Taylor v. State, 676 S.W.2d 135, 136 (Tex.Crim.App. 1984) (per curiam). We dismiss the appeal as moot.
