SHAMELYA ETIER, Appellant v. SHAHNOOR CHISTI AND NAHID PARVIN, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 3 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. CC-21-03220-C

ORDER

CRAIG SMITH JUSTICE

Before this Court is appellant Shamelya Etier's March 22, 2023 Emergency Ex Parte Motion for Judgment to Correct Clerical Mistake (Nunc Pro Tunc) in which appellant argues that the justice of the peace court had no personal jurisdiction over her and asks us to dismiss the case. On March 16, 2023, we issued our memorandum opinion affirming the judgment entered by the county court at law after a trial de novo from appellant's appeal of the justice court's default judgment against her. Because appellant received a trial de novo, her complaints regarding the justice court's judgment are moot. Garofalo v. Dallas Area Rapid Transit, No. 05-13-01595-CV, 2015 WL 1568440, at *1 (Tex. App.- Dallas Apr. 7, 2015, no pet.). Appellant's motion to dismiss the justice court case is DENIED.
