ESTATE OF JEANETTE OTTOVICH, DECEASED, RANDY OTTOVICH, HARVEY OTTOVICH, AND KAREN RAYL, EXECUTORS, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge.

This case was on the Court's October 19, 2015 trial calendar for San Francisco, California. A fight about who should administer the estate delayed a resolution for years. Then the pandemic struck. California Superior Court appointed coadministrators for the estate, who contracted for the sale of real property on which the government has a lien and which would fund the settlement of this case. That sale has then been in escrow for years, and other lienholders came forward.

The Court still sees little advantage to moving the case off the status-report track, and it is

ORDERED that on or before January 8, 2024 the parties shall file a joint status report describing whether escrow has been concluded, the IRS paid, and the case rendered moot.
