Estate of Prince R. Nelson, Deceased, Comerica Bank & Trust, N.A., Executor Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

This case is on the March 21, 2022 St. Paul, Minnesota trial calendar. On November 23, 2021 we spoke with the parties and learned that they have settled. Because the Estate remains under the supervision of a state probate court, the settlement has to be approved at the state level. Because one of the heirs has died, a representative for that heir has to be found and put in place. This will take some time and all agree that this case should be shunted to a status-report track.

It is therefore

ORDERED that this case is stricken from the Court's March 22, 2022 trial calendar. It is also

ORDERED that this division of the Court retains jurisdiction. It is also

ORDERED that on or before February 23, 2022 the parties shall file a status report to describe their progress toward closing the case.
