Appellant's brief was due on December 22, 2021. When it was not filed, we notified appellant by postcard dated December 28 and directed him to file his brief and a motion to extend time by January 7, 2022. To date, no brief or motion has been filed and we have had no communication from appellant regarding this appeal.

We ORDER appellant's brief filed by January 28, 2022. If no brief is filed by that date, the Court will abate this appeal for a hearing under rule 38.8(b)(3). See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(b)(3).
