On February 6, 2020, appellant, Christie Esparza, filed a Statement of Inability to Afford Payment of Court Costs or an Appeal Bond in the trial court. No contest was filed. Appellant may therefore proceed on appeal without payment of costs. See TEX. R. APP. P. 20.1(b)(1).
The Clerk of this Court is ORDERED to make an entry in this Court's records that appellant, Christie Esparza, is indigent and is allowed to proceed on appeal without payment of costs. See TEX. R. APP. P. 20.1(b)(1).
It is further ORDERED that the district clerk file with this Court, within 10 days of the date of this order and at no cost to appellant, a clerk's record containing the items specified in Rule of Appellate Procedure 34.5(a). See TEX. R. CIV. P. 145(a), (c); TEX. R. APP. P. 20.1(b)(1), 35.1(b), 35.3(a), (c).
It is further ORDERED that the court reporter file with this Court a reporter's record at no cost to appellant. See TEX. R. CIV. P. 145(a), (c); TEX. R. APP. P. 35.1(b), 35.3(b), (c). The reporter's record is due to be filed no later than 30 days from the date of this order.
Appellants' brief is ORDERED filed with this Court within 30 days after the date the complete record is filed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(a) (Appellant's brief is due "within 30 days . . . after the later of: (1) the date the clerk's record was filed; or the date the reporter's record was filed."). Appellee's brief, if any, must be filed within 30 days after the date appellants' brief is filed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(b).
