ORDER
Emin Toro Judge
This case was calendared for trial during the Court's April 4, 2022, San Francisco, California, trial session. On March 3, 2022, respondent filed an unopposed Motion for Continuance of Trial (Doc. 13). By Order served March 4, 2022, the Court granted respondent's motion and the case was continued generally.
On March 14, 2022, petitioner filed a Motion to Reconsider and Amend the Order March 4, 2022 Based Upon False Information (Doc. 15).
Court personnel attempted to set a conference call with the parties to discuss the status of the case, but were unsuccessful. By Order served March 22, 2022, the Court set petitioner's motion for hearing on April 4, 2022.
On March 24, 2022, respondent filed a Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Jurisdiction (Doc. 17) along with a Declaration of Emily Harris (Doc. 18). The Court would like to hear petitioner's views on respondent's motion to dismiss, so the Court will set the motion for hearing after petitioner's motion to reconsider is heard. At this hearing, petitioner should be prepared to show the basis for the Court's jurisdiction in this case. Petitioner should bring to the hearing copies of all documents on which petitioner relies to establish the Court's jurisdiction in this case. Petitioner is advised that failure to appear at the hearing on April 4, 2022, may result in the Court granting respondent's motion.
Upon due consideration, it is hereby
ORDERED that respondent's Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Jurisdiction is set for hearing at the Court's San Francisco, California, trial session scheduled to commence on April 4, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) in Room 2-1408, Burton Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, California, 94102.
This Order constitutes official notice of its contents to the parties. 1
