Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, Inc., (N.D.) 268 N.W. 400, a very recent case, the supreme court of North Dakota held that the mere allegation that the "plaintiff's reputation" and "his business and practice" were injured was insufficient as an allegation of special damages necessary in stating a cause of action for libel.
