MARY ECKHART, Petitioner(s) v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent
ORDER
Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge
On January 23, 2023, petitioner filed the petition to commence this case, seeking review of a joint notice of deficiency issued to petitioner and her spouse, Herbert L. Eckhart. On March 23, 2023, petitioner filed a Letter, requesting that her spouse be added as a petitioner in this case. However, that letter does not bear the signature of Mr. Eckhart. Accordingly, we will direct Mr. Eckhart to file an Amendment to Petition if he wishes to be added as a petitioner in this case.
Upon due consideration, it is
ORDERED that, on or before April 19, 2023, Herbert L. Eckhart shall file an Amendment to Petition (see form attached), bearing his original signature (not a photocopy) if he wishes to be added as a petitioner in this case.
