Opinion

10-29-2019

In the Interest of: D.V.J., Jr., Appellant, v. JUVENILE OFFICER, Respondent.

Max M. Wallach, St. Louis for respondent.

Max M. Wallach, St. Louis for respondent.

Before Division One: Cynthia L. Martin, P.J., and Alok Ahuja and Anthony Rex Gabbert, JJ.

ORDER

PER CURIAM:

D.V.J., Jr., a juvenile, appeals the judgment of the Circuit Court of Boone County finding that he committed a status offense, and ordering that he be committed to the Division of Youth Services until he reaches eighteen years of age. D.V.J. argues that the circuit court erred in finding that he disobeyed the reasonable and lawful directions of his Mother or other custodian and was beyond their control, and that the juvenile court abused its discretion in overruling his request for a continuance of the dispositional hearing. We affirm. Because a published opinion would have no precedential value, we have provided an unpublished memorandum to the parties which sets forth the reasons for this order. Rule 84.16(b).
