ORDER

PER CURIAM

Appellant is represented by appointed counsel, Franklin Bynum. Appellant's brief was originally due May 20, 2024. On May 16, 2024, we abated 14-24-00121-CR to allow the judge of the 180th District Court to Consider counsel's motion to designate as lead counsel. On July 9, 2024, we reinstated 14-24-00121-CR and set appellant's brief due August 8, 2024. On September 5, 2024, we granted appellant's motion to for extension of time to file appellant's brief in both appeals. Appellant's brief was due September 23, 2024. No brief was filed by the due date.

We order Franklin Bynum to file a brief with the clerk of this court on or before October 31, 2024. If counsel does not timely file appellant's brief as ordered, the court may issue an order abating the appeal and directing the trial court to conduct a hearing to determine the reason for the failure to file the brief and the consideration of sanctions, appointment of new counsel, or other appropriate relief.
