158 So. 3d 588 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2014)

Opinion

No. 3D14–0526.

05-05-2014

D.P., The Paternal Aunt, Appellant(s)/Petitioner(s), v. DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN & FAMILIES, et al., Appellee(s)/Respondent(s).

Opinion

Pursuant to Florida Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.040(c), we treat this appeal as a timely filed petition for writ of certiorari. The Department of Children and Families' motion to dismiss is granted, and this petition is dismissed for the paternal aunt's lack of standing to challenge the order denying her access to the court file and reducing/terminating her visitation with the minor children.

SALTER, EMAS and SCALES, JJ., concur.
