04-26-2024

Hencile Dorsey, Petitioner(s) v. Secretary, Dept. of Corrections, Respondent(s)

Lower Tribunal No(s).: 3D2023-1837 132019CF0135410001XX; 132019CF0O135380001XX

Because Petitioner has failed to show a clear legal right to reinstatement of the petition for writ of habeas corpus that was dismissed in case number 3D2023-1837, he is not entitled to mandamus relief. Accordingly, the petition for writ of mandamus is hereby denied. See Huffman v. State, 813 So.2d 10, 11 (Fla. 2000). Any motions or other requests for relief are hereby denied without prejudice to Petitioner seeking any available appropriate relief in the circuit court.

CANADY, LABARGA, COURIEL, GROSSHANS, and FRANCIS, JJ., concur.
