CONVERSION, § 43evidence. Plaintiff in action for conversion was properly granted judgment below, where evidence showed that after defendant foreclosed on certain premises it put locks on the building and prevented plaintiff from removing certain furniture, and subsequently leased the building and chattels to various parties.

Appeal from Municipal Court of Chicago; Hon. JOHN V. McCORMICK, presiding.

Judgment affirmed for $1,500 upon remittitur of $1,000; otherwise judgment reversed and cause remanded. Heard in third division, first district, this court at February term, 1940.
