JULIA BELLE DIXON, Appellant v. CITY CREDIT UNION, Appellee
On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 4 Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. CC-15-03383-D
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Before Chief Justice Wright, Justice Lang-Miers, and Justice Stoddart
Opinion by Chief Justice Wright
Appellee moves to dismiss this appeal for want of prosecution. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b),(c). Appellee correctly notes that appellant has yet to file her brief despite being directed by the Court to file both her brief and an extension motion no later than December 25, 2015. We expressly cautioned appellant that failure to comply would result in dismissal of the appeal without further notice. To date, appellant has not filed her brief, filed an extension motion, or otherwise corresponded with the Court regarding the status of this appeal.
Accordingly, we grant the motion and dismiss the appeal. See id. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b),(c).
