BY THE COURT:

Rehearing is granted on the court's own motion to allow defendant Bradley to appear as real party in interest to the writ proceeding. The State Public Defender is appointed to represent defendant Bradley and is granted until September 6, 1989 to file a response to the petition. The response should include inter alia discussion of whether respondent court had jurisdiction to recall defendant Bradley's sentence and of why the People's appearance as real party in interest was not adequate to represent defendant Bradley's interest. Petitioner may file a reply on or before September 18, 1989.
