The respondent's petition for certification for appeal from the Appellate Court, 157 Conn.App. 701, 117 A.3d 1003 (2015), is granted, limited to the following issue:

“Did the Appellate Court properly determine that it was improper, based on the record of this habeas petition, for the trial court to sua sponte dismiss the petition on procedural default grounds?”
