    Case No. 4:15-cv-04194-SLD-JEH (C.D. Ill. Nov. 18, 2019)   Cited 2 times
Finding that although Illinois Supreme Court Rule 23 is not binding on federal courts, the Court could not give unpublished cases precedential effect and thus citing to those cases for their persuasive value only

The United States cites to no Illinois case law finding that omitting a description of a property's improvements is immaterial. It cites to Deutsche Bank National Trust v. Paige, No. 1-12-0715, 2013 WL 3379592, at *6 (Ill. App. Ct. 2013), for that proposition. In Paige, however, there was not a wholesale omission of a description, but rather mere inconsistencies in how the improvements were described—a single family home versus a two-flat building.
